theScore has been given the green light to launch its sportsbook in Colorado

theScore Bet has launched its award-winning sportsbook in the emerging Colorado sports betting industry. Residents in the Centennial State will now have access to another sports betting option. Since sports betting officially launched in Colorado at the beginning of May, the state has recorded approximately $123 million in value of wagers placed throughout July. Canadian sports media and sports betting company, theScore, received approval from the Colorado Division of Gaming in August to roll out their sportsbook. The company gained access to Colorado’s sports betting market through a subsidiary of gaming operator Jacobs Entertainment in January.

In its first month of being live, Colorado’s sports betting industry generated $25.6 million in total handle. This figure jumped to $38.1 million in June and $59.2 million in July.
